Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DropLock ("DropLock," "we," "us"), a service that lets you upload a file and generate a link that expires by time, by download count, or both. By creating an account or using DropLock, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure — anyone who can sign into it can sign into your DropLock account.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading a file, you confirm you have the right to share it and to let DropLock store and serve it to the people you send your link to. We don't claim any ownership over your files.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DropLock to distribute illegal, infringing, or harmful content. See our Acceptable Use Policy for specifics.

4. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Creem, our payment processor, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.

5. Expiring links

The whole point of DropLock is that links stop working once they expire. We're not responsible for a buyer missing a download window you set, or for content becoming unavailable once a link expires or you delete it.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep DropLock available and your files accessible, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We're not liable for losses from downtime, though we'll work to keep it rare and short.

7. Termination

You can stop using DropLock and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including removing content that violates them.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as DropLock changes. We'll post the updated date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
